icymi the It's OK* World festival is happening for free in Toronto on Aug 16-17 and if you RSVP for a ticket, you can see Kadhja Bonet live! if you don't know her, she writes and plays all the parts on her music (and draws her own cover art!) and has an incredible voice. she makes gorgeous, deep soul/? music. just a couple of highlights if you're not familiar:
