extremely disappointing loss last night for the lakers. that 5 game winning streak doesn't mean anything after the performance (or lack thereof) displayed last night. there were several rebounds and loose balls that were a 50/50 shot for both teams to have, lakers watched, stood around, a few times i saw a hand go up but no movement of the feet (DWIGHT!). in my opinion it was the worst loss of the season, we've lost to worse teams but given the circumstances...going into it with a 5 game win streak, denver coming off a beat down loss vs clippers, i had absolutely no faith in their defense last night. every time kobe scored a ridiculously hard 3 pt shot i couldn't cheer cause i knew on the other end we'd give up either an easy lay-up AND 1 or a wide open 3 pter or hell even foul the 3 pt shooter.

Between you and Batmon, surely this can not be the best that New Yaawk has to offer in terms of basketball analysis. OHHHH
Clippers do have a nice schedule for the first part of the season but that doesn't mean they're not the real deal. Watching their games you can see the chemistry and how ALL the pieces compliment each other. Great shooters, decent enough post players (Blake is on/off, his jump shot is getting good. DeAndre on/off but both go and fight for boards), amazing point guard(s)/leader(s), and ALL of them are hustlers.
It's obviously still early but I'm thinkin Heat vs Clippers finals. West playoffs should be fun with some new teams in there.
