The best indicator of a good collaboration is when the result is far different from what anybody predicted. While not as personal as either of their solo work, MLITBOG delivers a perfectly cohesive work that is occasionally prescient of recent-year production techniques. "Qu'ran" is a perfect example of an ethnic hybrid that actually works well, with heavy, plodding beats and ambiguous wailing. DJ Flack out of Boston often weaves this perfectly into his hiphop-heavy DJ sets. Guaranteed to be found cheap near you, waiting to be liberated.
