which type do you guys prefer? Any idea where to get the 12" platter style 45 adapters?

I made these. They are regular slipmats but they have a recessed part in the middle so that the 45 adaptor drops down a little so the 45 doesn't slip under it.

They're subtle so I don't feel like I'm "cheating" too much. And they work for 12" records too so no swapping out slipmats.

If if you make some make the adaptor hole bigger than the adaptor so that it doesn't drag.

I also made a 45 sized ring of rubber drawer liner that I drop onto a regular slipmat. It makes the 45 stick to the slipmat so that you can use the slipmat like a 12" record, similar to the slipmats that you are looking for. No pics if that in my phone but I'll post later.

I drop this on the slipmat when I want to put my hand on the slipmat instead of the 45. You could put it on a 12" record instead if you wanted.

I've seen these before as well as other versions from other makers and always wondered what happens if you have a small-hole 7"?

Probably a dumb question, but is there a way to still play them on these?

I've seen these glued on top of a 12"

I think the 12" slipmats with the recessed center for the donut are revolutionary should be the new standard etc my ticket to industry riches.

Do there isn't. You have to take off the 45 twister from the platter.
