i love this guys records and the ones with roy ayers. lenny kravitz obviously ripped off his entire sound..anyhow, he sorta gets lost in the shuffle, and i don't think we ever appreciated on the man so...

Definitely a braeks dude for me (aka sample fodder), in that while I love many sections of his songs, I typically never like any of his songs in their entirety enough to play them out in their entirety.

the first time i heard "night of the full moon" it completely blew my mind.





also, that gatefold is SICK.





I can understand the "brakes dude" point you make, lots of the tracks dont sound as good to my ears as they once did, but he gets massive nostalgia points and "cola bottle baby" is something i still play out in its entirety.
