Galactic Convertible Music

Yes, such a fantastic song. I also dig the version sampled by Tony D back in '92. R.I.P.

And to Doc Delay, I'm definitely looking forward to this mix. From "Medium Rare" to the Hottub, all your mixes are essential. Thanks!

Hilarious. My friend played this song to me a while back and I immediately dug it, and remember saying "this is some Galactic Hot Tub schitt". Apparently its some Galactic Convertible Schitt.

Great mix, man!

bummer. apparently the streaming version gets converted to mono, and is phasing in parts. obviously this was unintentional, please download it to hear it correctly.

here's a slightly wimped out but competent cover of that jan hammer tune by some group named "beauty room"...

I'm so stoked for this. Huge frickin thanks.

Father in law just hooked up some late 80's audiophile goodness. MP3 Jammin about to commence.

fuck. that beauty room cover was horrible. so close to the original but in a more pomo-vomit way. respect to them for respecting the architect, but bleh. awesome mix delay. i know this mix will get another few months of play like the last one

thanks docdelay, :beerbang:

supernice mix. i had this in my car for 2 weeks straight.

anybody knows who did the slow kraftwerk cover? great version.

fuckin gonuts. I know what my ears will be filled with through the August heat.

I like your spacey-soulfunk-psych vibe. schitt is good.

Liked hearing "Yaz", sounded way pitched down which made that melody even more enjoyable and sultry.

the mix has a bunch of italo/electro/disco 45s played at 33 and layered. scropped and chewed!! Kraftwerk - "Models" being one of them.

When i heard that Yaz 12" on 33, I bugged. so good. i had to make it a little bit louder and abrupt just for effect.

I just did the same thing to "Bring Your Love Down" by Yaz today, it has the same effect. 45>33.

A dark minimal synth feel.

Late pass on this but listening to this now and like a ray of sunshine through the ever increasing rainclouds constantly hovering over London. Many thanks.
