I met that guy Fantuzzi at Womadelaide years ago (when i was making Djembes) For an old hippy he is doing pretty well as he had two barely legal hippy nymphettes tagging along with him.Has a lot of hippy cred, attended Woodstock made the cover of newsweek shagged a lot of chicks along the way and still lives the rainbow dream.
Complete wanker though.
The Lp is on Musicstack for US$170 (m-) and Gemm for US$60 (vg-).

Had the big Boston record swap beerfest at my house today,
and although the Strut turnout was almost nil, I ain't mad -
I know a bunch of dudes who *wanted* to show...big props to
the homie Lambert, who brought beer, heavyweight trade bait,
and crates of quality records for ridiculous prices. In fact,
any lurkers reading this who flaked on coming but could have...
you missed out on some sick records that you will soon be paying
5 times as much for on eBay than what they were going for today.
Turnout was strong, too. Most of us sellers made at least a few bills
in pocket.

Drunk at noon and surrounded by records and cool people handing
me their money on a summery October Sunday is a pretty nice feeling.

I laid back in the cut on the buying, but picked up a few nice
cheapies, most of the LP's are from Lambert, 45's from Eli Paperboy:

That Southwind is on a soul label, and has some fuzzed out west coast
jams, with production from Willie Hutch and Leon Ware!

Swap was good for cheap reissues, too - all $2:

45's picked up at the swap:

garage sales around my hood suck. travelled to next city over for an estate sale. it was butt. i did find some really cool postcard 45s though:

i stood in line to pay for them, and an older woman behind me was buying a roll of paper towels, a roll of foil, and a roll of wax paper. she asked about the postcards and i told them they were records. she told me she went to a garage sale with alot of little records. i went and pulled ($1 each):

Back from my two week (not long enough) tour of Australia. Family related but still found time to dig in Adelaide and Sydney. Some luck at the op shops, mainly moog and cheesecake LP's but better luck at the stores. In Adelaide I hit Big Star, Mr. V's (?) in Semaphore and a few antique malls and markets. In Sydney I wet to Red Eye, Mojo, Egg and Revolve. Shit is pricey down there so I was glad I brought traders. One thing that drove me nuts was the habit of filing reissues with originals. Since most of the reissues were priced around $25-30 Australian it was very hard to tell without closer inspection what was up. Store owners (and most Aussies in general) were very friendly though.
Here are my keepers:

Ray Dorset - Ray Dorset's Best (Boulevard) Mungo Jerry guy
Billy Thorpe - Million Dollar Bill (Infinity) nice version of Etta James' "Out on the Streets Again"
Buffalo - Volcanic Rock (Vertigo) heavy mid-70's Aussie group!!!
Tony Joe White - Black and White (Monument) signed
The Blackbirds - No Destination (Saga) nice German popsikebeat LP from 68
The Rubber Band - Cream Songbook (GRT)
V/A - Great Aussie Rock (Mushroom Anti Rip-Off) bought this one just for the label name. 1975 comp.
OST - Hair (Spin) Australian cast recording
The Crayon Fields - Animal (Trifekta) nice 2006 release. Zombieslike
Tee-Set - In the Morning of My Days (Interfusion)
Mandingo - Sacrifice (EMI)
V/A - Otto (Sanyo Japan) stereo test lp with cool instrumental Otis Redding and Beatles covers
KPM 1131 - The Trendsetters - some bangers on this one
Blackfeather - At the Mountains of Madness (Infinity)
Howard Wales and Jerry Garcia - Hooteroll? (Doulgas) finally!
Chris Parfitt and the Hi-Revving Tongues - Tropic of Capricorn (Zodiac) one of New Zealand's first psych bands. from 1966
Fatback - Yum Yum (Polydor) my one DC find since I got back

two copes of jean jaacques perry-modd indigo (looking to trade on of these)
zulema-Ms. Z (very so-so)
Tim Eyerman-Aloha (crap)
Can-Landed

I'll give it a spin.

What I'm really into right not is comp called "Relics - Collector Obscurities from the First Psychedelic Era '66-'69." It on dB Records and a limited run of 500 records.

"Yo, it's gotta be the shoes!"

Sunday at the Flatbush street fair:

New Birth - Birthday
Lipstique - At The Discotheque
Chi-Lites - A Lonely Man
Parliament - Clones of Dr. Funkenstein mintup
Joe Farrell - Canned Funk
and one other that's escaping me right now

The Crayon Fields - Animal (Trifekta) nice 2006 release. Zombieslike
I think they used to be on a mates label, Art School Dropout.
At their Melbourne album launch 2 of my friends were dressed up in giant bear (think the Kanye bears) suits and another friend was dressed as an Eastern European bear handler who led them around the crowd.
I've only heard bits and pieces of the album, but it's pretty cool.
Good Un-Australian sounding Australian music.

So Kevin,

How about returning the $$$$ you owe me or at least send me that record as
promised? Or are you gonna go silent on me again? I have proff from the Canadian
Post Office that you picked up your packages in early September. After that you went silent on me and ignored me.

How about checking out this link:

I'm not the only one who wants to "break your legs". No get in touch fool!
And stop hiding on other forums.
