That's where it came from. Not too long ago I got on a kick of making pancakes all the time. I started asking my wife and daughter if they wanted some "Johnny Cakes"? It quickly evolved into "you want some Bobby Cakes?" Now, it's beginning to turn into a real world nickname for me.

Jr. and his brother wore monogrammed track suits to the office every day, but The Nose wore white loafers, white paints and tight powder blue polo (he was like in his mid 60's), old school. Our office was the only place they could all go because they couldnt otherwise leave their homes and all they did was hang out in our office (which except for a small criminal practice was a corporate antitrust and complex litigation firm) roaming the halls and smoking cigars and ordering food from Peter Lugers that they would have someone pick up for them. And read about themselves on ganglandnews.com. At the time I actually requested from Jackie, and received an honorary gang nickname, "Brooklyn Pete."

My landlord is also "Joe the Cat" who owned the Ravenite Club which was across the street from my house and was taken away from him after the big bust that got Sr.
