One of two sought after funky spiritual jazz LPs by Bay Area keyboardist Todd Cochran aka Bayete released on the Prestige label in the early 70s. Cochran has had a long, mysterious career spanning many different genres that is cleverly decoded here. On Seeking Other Beauty , he makes good use of wah and fuzz pedals venturing into long winded psychedelic free jazz and funk territory. Especially on the 18 minute mind blower "Don't Need Nobody". Obssessed Soul Strut heads will remember it from my 2002 Royale with Beats mix CD.
