Burning Spear's third album Marcus Garvey pays homage to the inspirational political leader and entrepreneur of the early 1900s.  The album is a reggae home run meshing history lessons and story telling with compelling roots rhythms. It's a concept that rivals the great Bob Marley of the time.  Stand out cuts include "Tradition", "Live Good", and the title track.  This album's dub counterpart Garvey's Ghost is just as solid and is usually included with later issues of the album on CD.
