Actor who made the most successful acting transition from porn to mainstream. He starred in numerous X-rated films including 'Take Off' before becoming 'Detective Mallory' on the ABC daytime soap opera 'The Edge of Night' (1979-84).


Committed suicide in march 1985 while suffering from A.I.D.S.


Next to his actor career in adult movies Dennis Parker also recorded one hot disco LP in 1978, the title track of which is a confirmed, soaring classic "Like An Eagle"

I didnt know this was a "Gay" joint.




It's my understanding that it was a big "men's hit" before it went mainstream. The original pressing of it features an Eagle on the label, which, again as I've been told, was disco code.
