Azitis - Help

70s Christian albums got a lot of shine on here back in the day.  Whether it's the groovy pop of Ralph Carmichael or the heavy psych freak outs of Fraction's Moon Blood,  there's a gem worth copping for every 1000 duds.  And that's not even touching the subject of gospel.  The California band Help were active in the early 70s releasing their brand of "metaphysical" rock.  After a cease and desist from the British group Help, they changed their name to their debut album title, Azitis (sounds like a disease!)  This album is constantly name checked in best of Christian psych threads and deservedly so.  Help is dark organ psych with a keen 60s pop sensibility.  Check out songs like "Creation, Lord I Saw You Cry" and "From This Place" for a sip of the holy juice.
