Alice Clark's debut and only full-length record is a holy grail for soul music fans. Not much was known about her.  Clark's vocal tone is one that jumps off the record and makes the listener take notice.  Years later is was discovered she was from Brooklyn and that is where she would spend her final days after her short lived music career ended.  Her full length LP on Mainstream Records features captivating upbeat soulful vocal performances on cuts like "Never Did I Stop Loving You," and the collective crate digger favorite "Don't You Care."
